The number thirty has a different stress pattern to the number thirteen. In numbers that end in ty, we usually put the stress on the first syllable. In numbers that end in teen, we usually put the stress on the last syllable. I say usually, because sometimes the stress in a word can shift or be made less or more prominent for effect.
