This page gives you a good idea of how the lessons in the Britlish Library are laid out. You can see that students can keep notes about each lesson, can record vocabulary for each lesson, and can mark as complete and rate each lesson for their future reference. This system makes certain that it is easy to keep track of your study progress as you work with the many lessons in the Britlish Library. I hope you will try a free 14-day Britlish Library pass to really see what a unique and valuable resource the Britlish Library really is.
My reason for creating Britlish was to help as many students as possible to improve their English. After all, that is what an English teacher is supposed to do. An individual English teacher, however, has a limited number of hours in a day in which to teach. I saw that this would limit me in the number of students that I could help if I taught them in private classes on Skype. Even if I taught in a classroom with a dozen or more students in each class, I would be strictly limited in the number of students I could help in a finite lifetime. There are estimated to be about 1.5 billion people currently trying to improve their English skills. One English teacher, giving private classes online through Skype, can do very little to help such a vast number of students. Through Britlish, however, I am able to reach a vastly greater number of students who need my help. With this new service in the Britlish Library, Britlish Library members can now get a more personal learning experience by being able to request lessons from me directly. I know that if I create a lesson for one student, then many more students will find it useful for them to.
